Laura Vandervoort was amazing in this film

I thought she did a great job making her character sympathetic during the early parts of the film. Once the truth about her was revealed, it was heartbreaking. But I'm glad they cast someone like Laura that could bring some humanity to the character.

agreed, she sold it well that i didnt suspect her killing her own baby. i thought there must be another reason why she was being tested.

In my view, her character was one of the hardest ones to pull off in the entire franchise... and she fucking killed it. Really fantastic job. I thought she was one of the highlights of the movie. The whole cast at the barn did an amazing job, I thought, and she stood out even more.

Spoilers obviously

I went into the movie firmly believing I wasn't going to feel much of a personal connection to the new characters in the way I've felt towards old ones. Boy was I wrong. I absolutely loved Anna (until the reveal about her baby). She was smart and sympathetic towards the other players in the game and I was honestly quite surprised that she didn't make it out alive. Given how hyped up Laura's involvement was, I expected her to be the new Amanda of sorts (in the sense that we'd see her for at least two or three installments).
So far I have met:: Costas Mandylor, Tobin Bell, Julie Benz, J. LaRose, Darren Lynn Bousman, Michael Emerson
